General Meeting Information

The Visual FoxPro SIG is dedicated to the free exchange of information and ideas revolving around Visual FoxPro and related technologies including database design and theory, application programming, object-oriented programming, user-interface design, distributed applications, components, 3rd party utilties, and more.

Each meeting starts at 5:30 with a general Q&A session, where attendees can get there questions answered, no matter how easy or difficult. We then share new discoveries about FoxPro, usually involving someone giving a demonstration of a product or an idea. Around 6:30, we enjoy delivered pizza, for which we all chip in around $3 to cover the cost. The meeting continues with discussion or demonstration until we have no more to say, usually around 7:30-8:00. At that point the meeting may informally continue at the tavern across the street, depending on interest.

The meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the state-of-the-art training room at the Federal Courthouse in downtown Madison. There is free parking in the adjacent lot.

If you have more questions, please e-mail me (Eric Selje - FoxPro SIG Leader).

Then, whenever you post a message it will be distributed to all subscribers, a limited group of FoxPro enthusiasts in the area. We also post meeting announcements, job postings, general questions, and more.
