DISABLE USER PROFILES

User Profiles are those separate setup configurations for different people using the same Windows PC. Even explaining what they are can be confusing. If you don't face a Logon dialog box when you start Windows, you don't have them enabled and can just skip this tip. If you do have that Logon, and are tired of it, and are the only person using this Windows PC, here's how to disable the profiles feature:

1. When you see the logon dialog box, click on Cancel.

2. Click on Start, choose Settings + Control Panel.

3. Double-click on Passwords.

4. Click on the User Profiles tab.

5. Choose All Users Of This PC Use The Same Preferences And Desktop.

6. Click on OK.

7. Restart Windows.

Now you won't have the Profiles to kick you around any more.
