SPEED UP BROWSING
Using the Web on a sketchy dial-up connection can be painfully slow. To speed things up, try turning off images for a more pleasant and zippy surfing experience. In Internet Explorer, select Tools, Internet Options, Advanced. Scroll down to Multimedia. Then deselect the following:
In Netscape Navigator, choose Edit, Preferences, click Advanced, and deselect Automatically Load Images.
