MUSIC WITHOUT THE BEEPS, TOOTS, AND URPS

If you listen to audio CDs on your PC, then you should hear this. Sorry, couldn't help the pun.

Anyway, why not turn off those system sounds so they don't interrupt your music? You know, the beeps and toots Windows makes when you click on something in error or come to the end of a file.

1. Right-click on the yellow speaker icon on the Taskbar.
2. Choose Open Volume Controls.
3. Click to put a check in the Mute box under the WAV sound
control.
4. Click on OK.

Don't use the full mute -- on the far left -- or you won't even hear your music.
